Landon’s Story

Landon was an amazing boy. He was active and outgoing — he never encountered a sport he didn’t want to play. Despite an underlying genetic condition, he lived with passion. He loved to play, and he lit up a room when he walked in.

At the age of 4, Landon received a diagnosis for chronic lymphocytic leukemia, or CLL. The following months were incredibly hard. Landon experienced many painful effects of CLL, but his spirits stayed high. Even in his hospital room, he was always looking for a game to play.

He fought hard and played harder, and we treasured every moment together. Landon went to heaven on October 18, 2016.

Although Landon’s life was far too short, he lived it to the fullest. From fun moments with family to meeting some heroes on local sports teams, we shared many wonderful moments together. Those memories will last a lifetime.

Shortly after he passed, we realized that the impact Landon would make on this world wasn’t done yet. Landon’s Legacy Foundation is a tribute to his spirit, which we believe will continue on for many years to come.
